  Very welcoming and the owner is such a sweetheart! It's a charming, got everything you need, very cozy and clean cottage. It's a walking distance to beach 29 and near McDonald's, Tim Hortons, dollar store and lots of other places to eat. I will definitely come back here again and strongly recommend this place to anyone.

  My favorite of all places to stay for cottages. The hosts are awesome and are very accomidating. The cottage was clean and tidy.. no smells, no stains. Maintenance on the property is very well upkept. Never have an issue. Ask to have a fire at the main pit and wood is supplied! Excellent for kids as there is a sand box, play park and a nice hunk of land, safely between the cottages and the main house for them to play in. BBQ + gas included. Picnic table and umbrella there a well. Really do not need anything when comin to this place, just personal hygene items, clothing and towels for the beach! I ALWAYS go back to this place. (I have been travelling to Wasaga for 38 years, and my father was born there, and my grandparents were judges in Barrie so roots go deep). They allow you to dribk on property as long as you are civil. This is NOT a place for teenagers to hang out and party.

  I enjoyed the stay at birch haven. The area was nice as it was away from the large group of students that were staying in the area that weekend. The location was nice, as it was close to the beach. It was an enjoyable experience at birch haven.
